A. Just one. Ronald Reagan is the only President to have been divorced.

Q. In what two states in the US can a spouse sue a third party for ruining a marriage?

A. In Mississippi and New York a spouse can sue someone other than his or her partner for “alienation of affection.”

Q. In which US city is a wife not allowed to use the fact that her husband mistreats his mother-in-law as grounds for divorce?

A. Wichita, Kansas has a law that states it can not be used against him as grounds for divorce if a husband mistreats his mother-in-law.

Q. What happened when an Italian man brought his mother with him on his honeymoon, in 2012?

A. Three weeks later, his new wife filed for divorce.

Q. Why was a prosthetic device the cause of a divorce in 2008?

A. A woman wanted a divorce after, during sex, her husband’s prosthetic penis extension snapped off.

A.  In 2011, after 60 years of marriage, a 99-year-old Italian man divorced his 96-year-old wife because he found love letters she wrote to a lover in the 1940s.

A. Couples in Republican states are 27% more likely to divorce than couples in Democratic states. Couples in Republican states have historically married younger than their Democratic counterparts.

A. More than one million people have parents who separate or divorce each year in the U.S.  One in every four families will face divorce.

    How can I get information on help with a divorce in the state of MS. ? Do u have a book on this subject matter, which I’m quite sure u do . But how can I receive one .

      We only have state-specific do-your-own-divorce information for California and Texas. We do have a book that can help make any divorce go better, that works for all states, but it doesn’t have info for any specific state. Take a look at Make Any Divorce Better.
