Please follow these steps to update and renew your CalSupport PRO software online when our business office is closed for phone renewals:

- Open your CalSupport PRO and click the Help button in the top right corner of the screen
- From the drop-down list, click “Check for Updates”
- In the screen that opens, click “Check Now” (lower right area of the screen)
- You will see a statement about the latest version, and there will be some options on the right side of the screen for updating to the latest version, that look like this (without the red arrow):
- Click the button where the red arrow is pointing, that says “Download the Update File to My Desktop”.
- In the window that pops up next, you will see a picture of your desktop. Click the “Save” button in the lower right corner of that pop-up screen.
- When the download has been saved to your Desktop, you will see a popup that looks like this:
- Click “Yes” to install the update now. One of two things will now happen—either you will be taken into the Installation Wizard, or the whole thing will go away.
- If you are taken to the Installation Wizard (you might have to give it permission, and allow it to run before it opens), simply click “Next” in each screen until you get to the end, and then click “Finish”. Then skip to step #12 below.
- If the whole thing goes away, go to your computer’s Desktop, and locate the file you just downloaded. It will look something like this (but will show the current year instead of 2016):
- Double click on that icon to start the Installation Wizard (you may have to give it permission and allow it to run first). Simply click “Next” in each screen until you get to the end, and then click “Finish”.
- After clicking “Finish” the new version of CalSupport PRO will open as an Unregistered Program. Click to Register. If you can’t find the option to Register, just go into the program, and then go to Help > Register CalSupport.
- After clicking to agree to the license agreement, you will be offered four ways to register. Choose the online option. If you’ve already paid for your current year update, skip down to the line where your new B code goes on line 5 and enter it, then click to register on the next line. If you haven’t yet paid your update fee then follow the steps on the online registration screen to go through the online payment process. BE SURE to enter your correct billing address (the address your credit card issuing bank has on file) when checking out–otherwise, you won’t receive your unlocking code, and will have to wait until our office is open to complete your registration by phone.
- After completing your payment for the registration renewal you will receive your new unlocking B code on the online payment Thank You page (and in a payment confirmation email). Enter your new B code in the space provided in the online registration screen in CalSupport PRO (at Line 5).
- Lastly, after entering your code at Line 5, click the “Register” button at Line 6, and you should then be successfully registered, and your program will be ready to use.

If you have trouble updating your program from within your old version of CalSupport PRO, you can click here to go to the CalSupport PRO product page and use the download link on that page. Depending on what internet browser you use, you may have to download the installer before running it, so if that’s the case, be sure and download it to a place in your computer where you can easily find it (such as your Desktop). This will be a zipped download, so you will have to extract the file with the file name that starts with “CSPro” and ends with “.exe” and then click the extracted file to run the Installation Wizard. Finish renewing your registration by following steps 12-15 above.
